Electricity flows with ease through some materials than others. Electric conductors are materials that allows electricity to flow through easily. Example Aluminium Copper Silver Gold Electric insulators are materials that electricity cannot flow through easily. Example Wood Rubber Glass Most Plastics --  PVC Some materials allows electricity to flow through but not so easily or freely. These materials are called semi-conductors. Example Silicon Germanium
